A great catch...

I wanted to share with you today I card I made for my husband's birthday this year. He loves to fish and I loved this Greeting Farm Stamp as soon as I saw it, and I just could not wait to use it on a project.
I used Copic Markers to color the image (they can be a little pricey, but are really worth the money), distress inks to stipple the background, K and Co. Papers, and Prima flowers and leaves. I also incorporated a Basic Grey brad for the center of my flower and my new Martha Stewart deep edge punch. I LOVE that punch!
I will be doing a video real soon showing the background technique I used for this image. I just have to figure out when I'll have the free time! I'm a very busy girl these days. As soon as I do, I will let you guys know though :)
Hope everyone is having a great summer!

Eiffel Tower Embellishment Tutorial

Hi everybody!
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. For those of you out of the country, yesterday we celebrated the independence of out country: 4th of July! I had a semi terrible weekend because I wanted to craft all the time, but could not do anything at all. Nothing! However, yesterday, we attended a 4th of July BBQ and my little Emily was such a cutie! I just can't wait to make a mini or some project with some of her pictures. If she would let me! LOL

Anyways, let's get down to business. Here's the video I promised showing you how to make the Eiffel Tower of the tag I created for the June swap I was involved in. Enjoy!

June Tag Swap

I was able to participate in the JUNE tag swap hosted by Arlene on mybutterflykisses12 (YouTube), And here is what I created for the swap:The theme was Postcards from Paris, and the challenges were Vintage or Collage, or you could incorporate both. This is the first tag swap I have ever participated in, and I had lots of fun. Below see the details of the tag.

This next picture was the back of the tag.
For more information of what products and techniques I used, please watch the video below:
Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate all your comments.
Stay tuned for the technique video for the main embellishment of this tag (the making of the Eiffel Tower). I plan to post that up really soon :) My baby is screaming right now, so I have to go!
